Bhut Orange Copenhagen tasting? Riiiiight! Yeah… So, I got bored earlier today and decided to answer the age-old question: What happens when you put a food blogger and a web camera in the same room for an extended amount of time with not script whatsoever. The result is something I call “Johan Unscripted” and it’s definitely a “Don’t Do This At Home” kind of thing!

So, without further ado, here is me biting into a Bhut Orange Copenhagen Chili! The production value is low as hell, the sound is pretty messed up, but you may just get a kick out of your friendly neighborhood food blogger ending up in a world of pain… Enjoy! 🙂

The Bhut Orange Copenhangen, in case you wondered is a close relative of the Ghost Chili or Ghost Pepper. You can read more about the Bhut Orange Copenhagen (or BOC) in my post here, or find more interesting uses for hot peppers right here.

You should try it, Martin! As I said in the video: it’s awesome! Presumably! 😉 Seriously, though, don’t do it!

I’ve never actually seen an official test score for the BOC, so I was merely guessing on the 500k 🙂 It is stupid hot, indeed, but to me it seems less hot than the Bhut Jolokia.
